Now this is my famous arizonan report.

My Famous Arizonan

By Jason Hickson

John McCain is the most influential person in Arizonan history.  He is because he brings state hood to Arizona.  That’s why I’m writing about him. The other reasons why is because he served  in the Vietnam war, ran for  president, and was a prisoner of war.

The first reason why is because ran for president.   He didn’t  only run for president once but twice but, he didn’t make it to the president election. He lost in a fierce battle to George W. bush in the republican party.  He also won senate twice.  He is currently in a senate right now .

The second reason why is because he served in the Vietnam war.  He must have been brave to serve in the military.  Look at him right now in senate.  I never even thought that was going to be  possible.   He almost died aboard an aircraft carrier going to the Vietnam war.  In  1981 John McCain retired from the military service he served many years.

Now my third and final reason .  His plane was shot down above Vietnam  and he was taken prisoner for more than five years by Vietnam prisoner.  He became prisoner of the Hanoi Hilton. He also graduated from the U.S. in 1958.

So that’s why I know  John McCain  person in s the most influential person in Arizona history.  He is he ran for president, served in the war , and was

prisoner of war.
